Tuesday 7 PM Event: A Discussion With Left Turn Magazine Editors

Left Turn magazine editors along with Black Panthers veteran Ashanti Alston and other members of a panel discussion will discuss Zapatista's "Other Campaign." The Zapatistas are an indiginous and human rights group in Southern Mexico.
The event will be held at the Contemporary Museum, starting at 7 p.m. this Tuesday, June 20, 2006.
The Museum's Headquarters Project exhibit and Red Emma's in Mt. Vernon are co-organizing the Baltimore stop of Left Turn's 5th Anniversary infotour.
The Other Campaign is a campaign to build a grassroots movement uniting various local struggles throughout Mexico and internationally. The event will also serve as a celebration for the five-year anniversary of Left Turn magazine, an activist publication that has achieved wide circulation and buzz.
