The Baltimore Free Store takes donated and salvaged items and provides them to people for free. We establish one day temporary Free Markets in nieghboorhoods throughout the city.
We operate through volunteers like you. Come out and get involved!

Saturday May 27th - 11am to 3pm - Loading Dock Parking Lot
We will be holding a one day Free Market in the Loading Dock parking lot located at 2 North Kresson Street 21224 (across the train tracks from our warehouse). This is an outdoor Free Market so it is weather permitting.
Saturday June 10th - 11am to 3pm - Empty lot at 27th and Greenmount Streets
We will be holding a one day Free Market in the empty lot located across the street from the shopping center located near 27th Street and Greenmount Ave. This is an outdoor Free Market so it is weather permitting.
Sunday June 11th - 1pm to 6pm - Garrison Middle School - JuneTeenth Festival
We will be holding a one day Free Market as part of the JuneTeenth Festival near Garison Middle School located at 3910 Barrington Road. This is a community festival to include games, moon bounce, food, local arts, and fun for kids and adults.
Saturday June 24th - 11am to 3pm - Community lot at 2000 Edmondson Ave.
We will be holding a one day Free Market in the community lot at 2000 Edmondson Avenue This will be a part of an all day festive grand opening of the lot to the community for future community oriented activities. More information on that to come. This is an outdoor Free Market so it is weather permitting.
Saturday July 1st - Noon to 4pm - Contemporary Art Museum
We will be holding a one day Free Market as part of the Headquarters Project taking place at the Contemporary Art Museum located at 100 West Centre Street The Baltimore Free Store will be involved in this project throughout the summer including the creation of a mobile community center.
Saturday July 8th - 11am to 3pm - Community Lot near Rose Street Community Center
We will be holding a one day Free Market near the Rose Street Community Center in a Community Lot at 901 North Glover Street This is an outdoor Free Market so it is weather permitting.
Saturday July 22nd - 11am to 3pm - Grassy area located at Monument Street and Central Ave.
We will be holding a one day Free Market in the grassy area located near the intersection of East Monument Street and North Central Ave. This is an outdoor Free Market so it is weather permitting.
Saturday Agust 5th - 11am to 3pm - Park located on the 4000 Block of Old York Road
We will be holding a one day Free Market in the Park located on the 4000 Block of Old York Road This is an outdoor Free Market so it is weather permitting.
