The Village Learning Place is located on Charles street between 25th and 26th. It is an educational resource center in lower Charles Village, and hosts kids programs, computers for use, and co-hosts the Baltimore Free University. See www.villagelearningplace.org for more details.

Energy Conservation Workshop by BGE ~ Tuesday, May 9 from 11:00am to Noon
This month's Seniors Tea Series will feature a conservation workshop presented by BGE. Join us for coffee, tea, and refreshments.

"Brunch for Your Loved One" Cooking Demonstration ~ Wednesday, May 10 at 7:00 pm
Mothers are so special that once a year we set aside a whole day, just for them. And they deserve it! Mom's day shoould be one of
relaxation and indulgence. What better way to make her day memorable than to start it off with a delightful brunch? Spoil her with everything from the sweet to the savory. Learn to prepare that
special meal for the Mom or Special Someone in your life. There will be a cooking demonstration and food for thought. Provided by Skillitz Caterers.
2nd Wednesdays at the VLP! = New programming for adults!
2nd Wednesdays will feature performances, lectures, cultural enrichment, and the opportunity to converse with like-minded neighbors each month.
