Here's a fine way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon. An open mic gives everyone a chance to share poems and literary musings following a fine group of writers featured in the glorious first edition of new local magazine Attic!

Featured readers are Barbara DeCesare, Lalita Noronha, Dennis Barnes,Dan Cuddy, Michael Gavin, Danuta E. Kosk-Kosicka, and Gregg Mosson. Clayton's is an independent bookstore and cafe.

Then come join us for an always interesting evening of music and poetry. The May host is the delightful Les Bradley, professor of Communications Arts at the College of Notre Dame. Bring your poems, music, stories to perform during
the open mic (sign-up begins at 7 pm.). Featured performers include poet Rosemary Klein and
fine musician Margie Roswell and trio. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be available. Street parking is available in the area.
