baltimore sun coverage of immigrant rights rally in baltimore ... no indy coverage?

It seems that, unlike other cities where there is a high degree of indymedia involvement in organizing media coverage of the recent wave of immigrant rights demonstrations, Baltimore indymedia seems to have little to no connection with perhaps the most important social justice movement(certainly the largest!) to arise since the anti-war movement.
I personally didn't find out about the patterson park may day rally until well after it was over - now I had checked the national coordinating sites like nohr4437.org, and didn't see anything about a baltimore rally. nor did i see any posters anywhere in the city(admittedly I don't get down to fell's point all that often!) it's a shame that there wasn't more of an effort to encourage people to come and show their solidarity - i know if i had seen something on baltimore indy advertising the rally, i would have definitely come out for it. ideally indymedia should not only be a place to reflect on social justice news and issues, but an active tool for organizing.
