Baltimore Education and Cultural Institute Inc. Launches Web Presence

Baltimore Education and Cultural Institute, Inc., a Baltimore, Maryland based not-for-profit organization, is pleased to announce the launch of its web presence on the Internet.
Baltimore, March 1, 2006:   Baltimore Education and Cultural Institute, Inc., a Baltimore, Maryland based not-for-profit organization, is pleased to announce the launch of its web presence on the Internet. The new Internet home for BECI, Inc. can be found at www.becinet.org.

This new BECI, Inc. initiative is a dream come true for the President/Chief Executive Officer of BECI, Inc. Mr. Carl Merez. As one of the original founders of the organization, Mr. Merez partnered with the management consulting firm of Trueheart Investment and Management, LLC of Landover, Maryland to design, publish and maintain the new web site. Content on the new web site includes company background, management board membership, ongoing community activities, fund raising events, photographs and up-to-date news about BECI, Inc. and the at-risk children it serves.

BECI, Inc. is well known in the Cherry Hill Community of Baltimore for its annual Harbor View Festival that it will sponsor again for the sixth year this coming July 8 and 9 2006. The 2-day weekend festival, features great steel pan musical guests, children’s games, vendors, exhibitors and community groups of interests.
Another successful BECI, Inc. initiative is the “PAN Youth Program” which it started in 2005 in partnership with Cherry Hill's Patapsco Elementary/Middle School of the Baltimore City Public School System (BCPSS). The "PAN Youth Program" focuses on enriching the lives of at-risk children in Baltimore City through music in a hands-on after school program. Participants will have the opportunity to perform during the Harbor View Festival in July.
