Medea Benjamin & Iraqi Journalist/Activist to Speak
Medea Benjamin, co-founder of CODEPINK, the peace network, and Dman Ahman Khamas, and Iraqi journalist and activist against war abuses, will speak on Thursday, March 8 at 7:30 at Anne Arundel Community College
Medea Benjamin, cofounder of CODEPINK, the peace network, and Eman Ahman Khamas, an Iraqi journalist and activist against war abuses and women’s incarceration, will speak on Thursday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Anne Arundel Community College. Benjamin’s talk is entitled, "Stop the Next War Now: Effective Responses to Violence and Terrorism." The event will be in the Pascal Center for Performing Arts on the main campus in Arnold, MD. This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Medea Benjamin, who also co-founded Global Exchange, is an eloquent and much sought-after speaker.
