POLL Democrats You Have A Chance to Stop the Spoiler (Nader) Effect in Maryland NOW

How Long Before We Can Vote For Who We Want?
How many election cycles before we can get away from hold our nose voting?

Matt Gonzalez former president of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and a concerned Green Party member asks?
a href ="http://meshsf.com//newpage/meshsf/article.php?id=21&vol_id=003§ion_id=6&option=archive>. "Until When? Democrats ask the Greens to delay party building-but for how long?"

a href ="http://www.dailykos.com">Daily Kos

Shouldn't we be able to vote for who we want instead of having to always pull the lever for a person who reviles us, sucking in our breath and saying that we have to do this to stop the ogre we definitely don't want elected. Wouldn't it be nicer if you could vote for who you really want?
The Senate in Maryland is hearing a bill on Instant Runoff Voting today. The Education and Health and Environment Committee is voting on it between 9-11am. SB 292 would mandate IRV for all state and federal elections in Md.

Voters would rank choice their ballot 1,2,3 and no candidate would win with less than 50%.

Democrats love to rage about Ralph Nader but have done very, very little to fix the spoiled system. If this had been in Florida in 2000 Greens would have voted Nader 1st, and 2/3 would have voted Gore 2nd. Bush would not have won. This is win-win folks. How long before we get to vote for who we want to vote for?

If you are in Md call your State legislators; if you know people there educate them. Either the Democrats start working constructively with Greens and Independents to end Republican hegemony or the Democrats will continue to lose close races.
