March to Demand an End to the Death Penalty in Maryland. Take Vernon Evans off Death Row!
Vernon Evans faces execution as early as Monday, February 6, 2006. Maryland’s death penalty is proven to be racially biased and arbitrary. Ignoring this fact, Governor Ehrlich has already executed Steven Oken and Wesley Baker. Enough is enough. Join us for two emergency demonstrations.

From Prince George' s County/ DC Metro Area- Take 495
to Route 50 East. Take route 50 to exit #24- Rowe
Blvd/RT 70/ Annapolis bare right at the fork in the
ramp. Continue onto Rowe Blvd. You will go through one
traffic light, cross over a small bridge, go through a
second traffic light and cross a second small bridge,
and stay in the right lane. After crossing the second
bridge (the State House/ Lawyers Mall will be straight
ahead of you about three blocks away) bare right at
the fork. At the 1st light (less than a block) make a
right onto Calvert St. There is a parking garage on
the right hand side and one on the left that sits back
from Calvert Street. Walk back towards the Louis
Goldstein Building and turn right on Bladden Street.
Lawyers Mall is at the base the State House building
and next to the Governor' s Mansion.

From the Baltimore Area (west and Central) - Take RT
695 to RT 97 South. Follow 97 S until it merges with
RT 50/ 301 East /Annapolis. Follow DC Metro
directions.

From the Baltimore White Marsh Area - take 95 South
to 895 South through the Harbor Tunnel, follow signs
to 97 S. Take 97 south until it merges with RT 50/301
East. Follow DC Metro Area directions.

From points West- Take RT 32 East to 97 South. Follow
97 S until it merges with RT 50/ 301 East /Annapolis.
Follow DC Metro directions.

From the Eastern Shore -Take RT 50 West across the Bay
Bridge. After crossing the Severn River Bridge, stay
in your right lane. Take exit #24 Rowe Blvd./
Annapolis. You will go through two traffic lights,
cross over a small bridge, go through a third traffic
light and cross a second small bridge, stay in the
