Exhibition Hours

Friday, September 9 10 am - 8 pm
Saturday, September 10 10 am - 8 pm
Sunday, September 11 10 am - 6 pm

Location: 3400 N. Charles Street (The Beach) Homewood Campus of Johns Hopkins University.

Rain Location: Friends School of Baltimore Gym, 5114 N. Charles St.

The American Friends Service Committee, an international social justice organization, created Eyes Wide Open to illustrate the lives lost in the war in Iraq. In addition to the more than 1,800 pairs of combat boots representing U.S. military casualties, the exhibit contains an important second component: a labyrinth of shoes representing the tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians who have perished in this war.

Film makers Peter Dudar and Sally Marr will be present. Q&A following.

Interfaith Memorial Service
