National Day of Outrage over Neglect - Justice for the Victims of Katrina
LET US TURN OUR COLLECTIVE ANGER INTO A FORCE FOR CHANGE -

We must unite on September 12 to demand -
*IMMEDIATE RELIEF - food, medicine, water, clothing, and emergency relief
for the people of the region
*FULL BACK PAY AND EXTENDED UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS for the close to 1 million
displaced workers
*A MASSIVE JOBS PROGRAM to rebuild the areas impacted by the hurricane
*Open up all private and public facilities for EMERGENCY HOUSING, including
luxury hotels and resorts
*END THE MILITARY OCCUPATION OF NEW ORLEANS - people trying to feed their
families are not looters
*An independent INTERNATIONAL INVESTIGATION of the criminal negligence that
caused the disaster
*LOCAL PEOPLE MUST HAVE A SAY - people in the affected area must have a
decisive say in how resources are allocated and in the rebuilding process
* MONEY FOR HURRICANE RELIEF, NOT FOR WAR!

IT IS A CRIME FOR THE GOVERNMENT -- TO ALLOW PEOPLE TO SUFFER AND DIE
BECAUSE OF THEIR RACE AND CLASS --TO TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THE ENEMY BECAUSE
THEY ARE BLACK AND POOR - TO SPEND A FORTUNE ON WAR AND CUT BUDGETS AT HOME
THAT CAUSE MASS MURDER - TO SPEND $200 BILLION ON WAR - UNITE TO DEMAND THE
RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO GET ALL THE HELP THAT THEY NEED IMMEDIATELY -
