Michal Osterweil, activist and graduate student at Chapel Hill, North Carolina, will present her research and experience of the various politics of the Social Forum Movement. Her talk will be at Red Emmas on Tues., August 23, @ 8 p.m.
She will focus specifically on the radical and autonomous-spaces movement that participates at the World and European Social Forums. She will discuss the relationship of autonomous spaces to the overall politics of the Global Justice Movement. Most likely there will be a question-and-answer session to follow.
