The Indymedia network is one of the best, and one of the only outlets we have to distribute the critical information that the mainstream media continually refuses to even acknowledge. As activists, as radicals, as residents of Baltimore, of the United States, and of the world, we all share the responsibility of carrying on the fight -- and of making sure that the voices silenced by the power-that-be are heard.

Indymedia is a great resource, but it is only as good as we make it. Running an open publishing website is only one part of the Indymedia project -- awareness raising, issue reporting, and the development of other alternative media outlets are equally important. You can help.
