Archeological History Reveals Old Truths

In Sakarah, Egypt there are ruins and within them cubical after cubical used in ancient times as offices where one would go to find someone that spoke their language in order to buy grain. There is recorded there in the hieroglyphics the figure identified as Imhotep, that is Joseph none other than the son of Jacob. Joseph whom in Gen. 41:43-45 Pharaoh put over his house and kingdom.
After Joseph’s death and Israel was enslaved scriptures tell us, by a king arose that did not know Joseph. (Ex.1:8) Moses arose to free Israel from bondage in Egypt. He had numerous run-ins with this Pharaoh and brought plagues on the land because Pharaoh heart was hardened towards Israel. It was not until Yahweh created the first Passover in which Yahweh smote the first born of all Egypt including Pharaoh’s son (Ex12:27-29) that he let Israel go free.
Moses and the tribes of Israel went first from Ra’amses (Rameses) to Sukkoth (Succoth) to pick up Joseph’s bones, which were in the step pyramid. From there they went to Etham and followed the route to Pihahiroth (which means between the gorges). This path is a dried riverbed surrounded on both sides by mountains and was the main path to the military encampment at Migdol. Pharaoh new this path well, he knew he had Moses and the Children of Israel trapped. When Moses arrived at the end of the riverbed at Pihahiroth there stood before him the Red Sea they were surrounded on all sides, and Pharaoh was coming. We’ve heard the story, but here is the “rest of the story” as Paul Harvey would say.
There was an armature archeologist by the name of Ronald E. Wyatt who was fascinated with Biblical archeology. While in Israel they were told of an ancient Assyrian column that had been found along the Golan Heights and Wyatt checked it out. It gave clues that it was one of two marking the crossing the Red Sea. Wyatt crossed into Egypt and found indeed that there was another one also marking the crossing on the other side.
Wyatt was diving later in the area when they found scattered over a mile and a half area coral encrusted remains of chariots and skeletons of horses and humans. There was even one wheel found that was plated with gold. They filmed these chariots and remains and I have a copy of the film, and they are available through the Wyatt Museum. There have since been further investigations of the remains of Pharaoh and his troops. The very place they crossed is a narrow underwater land bridge. On both sides the Great Rift Valley drops off to a depth of 5000 feet. This rift begins at the Dead Sea the lowest body of water on earth at 1296 ft below sea level. It traverses more than 3000 miles through Africa and ranges from a few miles wide to more than 100 miles wide.
Ron Wyatt had a few other important discoveries well worth mentioning for which he received little notoriety. He found Noah’s Ark in Turkey and was presented with a section of one of the petrified beams from it. He also discovered the ash remains of Sodom and Gomorrah, which are toured today. Pieces of brimstone can be found and if lit will burn through stainless steal even today. Probably the most important discovery the Ark of the Covenant that was found below Golgotha, that however is a story for another time. (See : www.wyattmuseum.com )
The famous film by Cecil B. De Mille The Ten Commandments showing Pharaoh surviving was inaccurate in his living. In fact the famous Tall al ‘Amarinah Tablets revealed much about what happened. It seems that it is recorded that Pi-Thom (Pharaoh Thom) was in a battle with an unknown God and was sucked into a whirlpool and his body was never found. His son died before him on the first Passover. He occupied his father’s tomb and his name was none other than Tutankhamen.
So once again Yahweh’s Word the Bible is proven to be true. Noah’s ark was real just as we were told. Sodom & Gomorrah were burned up and nothing but ash remnant and brimstone are found. The crossing of the Red Sea by Moses and the Children is true just as we are told and the remains of chariots and of men and horses again prove the Word of God is true.
