_Judge Turns A Blind Eye
Peltier Appeal Rejected_

I know Justice is blind. However, the scales of Justice are supposed to be equal. In a ruling from the courts on Saturday, Mickey Mouse “Puppet” Judges ruled and, in their decision, denied another of Leonard’s appeals, again, under the watchful eye of the FBI. When the FBI and other Government agencies can make up their own rules, and when the existing rules hold them back, they just create their own new rules, then being innocent is no defense. When the judicial system judges its cases based on official vengeance and not our basic system of law, then we clearly have lost control of the system.
Leonard Peltier, now 60 years old and in poor health, spoke to the court by speaker phone, and complained again of the government changing their story. He may be referring to oral arguments given before the eighth circuit court of appeals in 1985, when the Government argued that it did not need to prove that Leonard executed the agents at close range and they admitted that “ we can’t prove who shot the agents “ .
It was then that the evidence linking Leonard to any involvement in the shooting began to unravel, and it became apparent that the government was manufacturing evidence after the fact. The Government then changed its claim. First, it was the Government’s case that Leonard was the shooter, now they are upholding Leonard’s conviction on an “aiding and abetting” charge, not murder charges. At the first murder trial in which Leonard was convicted, the prosecutor claimed “ we proved that he went down to the bodies and executed those two young men at point blank range”.
This is what they convicted him of. The FBI has testified many times since then, that they don’t know who shot the agents. Why then, is he still in prison?
It’s been 30 years of lies to hide the Government’s role in the Rez Murders, also known as the “Reign Of Terror”, where at least 64 Native American People were killed by “Goons” and Government backed police forces. And why, on this tiny Indian Reservation, were they there ? Suddenly there are 150 FBI agents , Swat team members , BIA police and Local Posse members on the Jumping Bull property to this set up crime scene. Why were they all there on the Rez that day? As most will tell you, the answers to these questions may not ever be known, as many of the people who are hiding the secrets of this corruption have died. AND that the FBI still withholds thousands of documents that could prove Leonard’s innocence. Well, the tragic errors of this Government’s past are in the books already. It’s time to put aside the lies and the cover-ups and Free Leonard Peltier.
