The US Forest Service cited individuals for peaceful assembly on public lands. The mass court date for the accused is June 28 in West Virginia.
On Tuesday, June 28, hundreds of gatherers who were cited by the US Forest Service for violating the non-commercial group use regulations will have their day in court. Cited individuals were originally scheduled to appear at the Elkins, West Virginia courthouse at 9 AM but the location has been changed in an apparent attempt to prevent ticketed individuals from appearing at their appointed court date and isolate the accused from their supporters and the watchdog eye of the media.
As many gatherers are camped in the woods without any consistent method of being contacted, the courts last minute movement seems to be a trap to issue “failure to appear” warrants to gatherers.
Calling all friends, family, supporters and individuals interested in the rights of the people to peacefully assemble to join us in a show of support for the accused and a press circle (rainbow speak for a non-hierarchal press conference) at the top-secret location prepared by the United States Federal Court to limit the number of people in attendance for reasons that have not been disclosed.
Where is it happening?
Wherever our brothers and sisters are schedule to appear. Rumors are circulating that the court location has been moved to the Cranberry Glade Visitors Center (for now) and rumor has it that location may be moved again. Directions to Cranberry Glade available at

This is a great opportunity for the media to speak with gatherers regarding their frustration at being prevented from using their public lands, the heavy-handed tactics of the USFS Law Enforcement Incident Command team, the failure of our elected officials to support the right of the people to peacefully assemble and much more.
Be there or be square :)
