Bicycle around the White House to demand Bush shift gears on Global Warming and take decisive action while the world’s wealthiest countries meet at the G-8 Summit in Scotland. We will ride to demand:
• Action to Stop Global Warming! End our Petrol Addiction!
• The USA join the International Community & Support the Kyoto Protocols.
• Stop drilling and spilling! Stop the cycle of pollution and waste.
• SUPPORT RESPONSIBLE USE OF RESOURCES! Fund Wind, Solar and renewable energy solutions.
We will be cycling around the White House 24 hours a day to send this message to the G8 summit: We Want Clean Energy! The American people support the Kyoto Protocols!
Calling all Bicyclists and wanna-bees: Join the CLIMATE CYCLE and demand a change!
Here is how:
• SIGN UP for as many 2-hour riding blocks as you can. We’re riding 24 hours a day for 3 days from Tuesday night, July 5th through Friday Night, July 8th.!
• BRING your bike; bring extras if you have them or use one of ours on site!
• RECRUIT your friends, neighbors, kids, school or community group to join.
• STAFF our support tent from July 5-8th
• DONATE food, water, medical kits, t-shirts, unwanted bikes or money!!
• Help us get the word out! Pass this on far and wide.
• Volunteer to help us make a banner or t-shirts or bike pennants!
