Effective use of tools
Just different means to an end. Let's take a look at few:
Means to an end
World War One was thought of as “The Great War”. It was by far the greatest war up to that day. It was the first time tanks were used, airplanes were used, poison gas was used. It was unthinkable and unparalleled in comparison to all other wars.
World War Two came and made WW1 appear as an English tea party with scones and crumpets. The savagery of WW2 now became the man’s highest achievement in ways of destroying other men.
World War Three hasn’t occurred yet (maybe) but it will most certainly outdo the prior mentioned wars. We have no idea what tools and methods will be used. If it turns out that in the land of cheese it is a sacrilege to eat salad and steak – the most potent weapons might be salad and steak.
Our present day enemy has based much of its hatred, intolerance and blame on the United States using (or misusing) the Holy Kuran. So consequently, as their opponents we may have used that same Kuran to inflict most damage to the enemy forces. It’s just a book, same as the Bible is just a book. The days of chivalry are long gone. Japan was blamed for having attacked Pearl Harbor without the formal declaration of war. Those declarations seem rather out of place in this day and age, and we don’t need a written document to see that others have attacked us, or that we have attacked some others.
If the military techniques of interrogation are unsavory, let’s take a look at alternative methods. Try feeding the prisoners warm milk at bedtime and see if that gets them to uncover their sources. Should the “milk interrogation routine” fail – I suggest we get to re-examine some other methods, including the use of the Holy Kuran if it need be.
Newsweek just printed a retraction on the story using the Kuran for inerrogation purposes. I see no need to neither applogise nor the use of the Kuran in the interests of obtaining information.
No need for Newsweek to print any retractions or apologies.
