THE WAR ON IRAQS PEOPLE
The U.S. military has used small nuclear weapons on the people of Iraq in the form of depleted uranium munitions. If you write to your local congressman they will admit to doing this, however, a lot more than simply writing to your congressman needs to be done. Their rationale is that the depleted uranium (DU) doesn't cause serious health problems for those who are exposed to it, now that's complete BS. In reality DU will cause severe birth defects, cancer, leukemia and other horrible problems. This started with the first Gulf War in 1991, continued with the so called "humanitarian" mission in Yugoslavia and right now the U.S. is using DU weapons on Iraq and Afghanistan. The U.S. military knows exactly what radioactivity does. Those in the ruling class need to be held responsible for what they have done. DU has also affected the soldiers on both sides of the conflict. The pictures above are of babies who were born in Iraq during the years following the first Gulf War. As the second war in Iraq continues this will only become more common.
