What: Community building discussion & introductions; potluck & movie showing afterwards of "Zapatista" (big noise film)

Where: 120 W 21st Street (near the corner of 21st and Howard a.k.a. 'The Jerkstore'

When: May 8 (Sunday) 3:30 p.m.

This will be an autonomous space for people to represent their radical collectives/groups/organizations/projects and to share and generate ideas for community building within Baltimore. The intenetions of this gathering are to form an all inclusive network or directory to futher build a tight radical community. This is NOT a formal meeting of any sort- we are mustering so that we can acknowledge and support one another in each others projects and plug into the growing amount of progressive action within our city. So, bring food, your groups, ideas, flyers and announcements so we can better aquaint ourselves wtih one another in order to build solidarity.

The Baltimore Rising Collective is primarily focused on creating space and means towards community building. We strive to help one other network and build strong bridges between the various collectives/organizations throughout town. There is a Baltimore Rising listserve that you can post radical events/announcements/needs and in general, fun community-oriented events.
