From One People's Project: On May 11, 2002, the National Alliance is planning to march outside the Israeli in Washington, DC. The following is what information we have so far.
The National Alliance is taking a pro-Palestinian stance. This is not about any real support for the Palestinian people, but rather a tactic to further their anti-Jewish agenda. "Confusion among our enemies is a good thing, and the divorcal (sic) of the Jews from the other non-Whites is long overdue," National Alliance's Billy Roper wrote recently. "It's the crucial turning point that we need to capitalize on and exacerbate whenever and wherever
possible."
Unfortunately for Roper, folks are on to them. As the release further down this page for the Committee in Solidarity with the Palestinian People (CISPP), points out, The National Alliance, nor any white supremacist group could care less about Palestinians, and they will not allow them to co-opt their struggle. "This is completely unacceptable and cannot be ignored," the release states. "The growing, profound movement in the US in support of Palestinian self-determination and against the illegal occupation by Israel of Palestinian land must not be tarred with the brush of anti-Semitism. All people of good will who wish to see a fair, genuine peace settlement between Israel and the Palestinians must not be perceived as being in league with Nazi, anti-Semitic elements."
This will be the third rally the National Alliance has put on outside the Embassy since Sept. 11, and there has been a huge buildup on the parts of the pseudo-nazis. They are even planning a white power show later that evening featuring a band called H8 Machine, whose lead singer Dennis Dent is reportedly in trouble with the law concerning credit card fraud. The National Alliance is attempting to get the same crowd that was with them on January 12 in York, PA to come out to DC, and to that end we refer visitors to our site to the flyers and pages made at that time.
Keystone State Skinheads has on their Yahoo! Groups page that it is mandatory that their people go. This would mean that some old faces may crop up. Erica Hoesch (formerly Hardwick) and her new husband Joseph, may be there, although she and the National Alliance has parted ways. There has been a number or reasons why she has bolted, but according to some sources, it could quite come down to an old problem white racist organizations in the area has had concerning Eastern Hammerskins routinely siphoning off members from other organizations to beef up their own ranks. The Hoeschs have been seen around the Philadelphia area quite a bit. Once it was at a Celtic Heritage event open to the public and another it was at a death metal show where they flyered and allegedly were involved in a scuffle (that happens quite a bit with this girl)!
Others that may make an appearance are Keith Carney and Dale Smith of Browns Mills, NJ. The two are currently facing felony charges for posting National Alliance decals around Philly. Carney was in York, and he and the former Ms. Harwick left silly phone messages on the OPP voice mail letting us know at the time that they will be there. He reportedly was also at the death metal show Erica Hoesch was at. If anyone sees him, tell him we said hi.
Speaking of trouble with the law. Aryan Nations, the August Kreis chapter, will be coming too! NJ Chapter leader James Mazzone, a/k/a James McManus may not be there, however. He is reportedly facing some drug charges, and that will keep him within the confines of New Jersey for the time being. We have set up a page featuring pics of him and other Aryan Nations members in the area. Note: this is NOT the Dick Butler-affiliated faction. These are the folks who split from him and are trying to build a second Aryan Nations in Pennsylvania. They have communicated a number of threats that never seem to be carried out, and have made a few stupid missteps, one in particular that may see the law shutting them down soon enough. More on that as it develops.
Meanwhile, Billy Roper has been attempting to agitate both his people and those who may come out to counter his group. He has reportedly called on his people on a secure portion of one of their discussion boards to bring weapons. He has also sent One People's Project this bit of advice:
"The D.C. Metro Police say that they're ironing out their mask policy, and anyone who commits any criminal act, including conspiracy to commit assault, throwing batteries or rocks or et cetera, vandalizing personal property, or attacking individuals, will be de-masked."
Ummm...Billy? People who commit criminal acts and are arrested usually get that kind of treatment overall. Kind of makes it easier for the CO's to recognize people in the lockup. This bit of news was relayed to a person planning to attend who had asked us to tell Roper to go fuck himself.
Below is the call from Committee in Solidarity with the Palestinian People (CISPP) and the Youth Leadership Support Network (YLSN) More news as it develops.
Support the Palestinian People!
Oppose Anti-Semitic Neo-Nazis in Our City!
Promote Unity & Diversity
The neo-Nazi National Alliance (NA) and other "white power" groups are planning their fifth demonstration in Washington DC. on May 11. We must respond by making our voices heard loud and clear that we are united and proud of our diverse community in the greater DC area.
The NA, an extremely violent group, is once again attempting to use the horrific plight of the Palestinian people for further their own vile. racist, anti-Semitic agenda i.e. to boost anti-Jewish violence in the US. This is completely unacceptable and cannot be ignored. The growing, profound movement in the US in support of Palestinian self-determination and against the illegal occupation by Israel of Palestinian land must not be tarred with the brush of anti-Semitism. All people of good will who wish to see a fair, genuine peace settlement between Israel and the Palestinians must not be perceived as being in league with Nazi, anti-Semitic elements.
Since September 11, Nazis and related groupings worldwide have increased their activities and are actively organizing for their agenda of genocide and hate. Their goal is to blame the Jewish people for the September 11 attacks, the ghastly situation in Palestine, as well as to increase ethnic violence of all kinds in the US and elsewhere. Recent events in France bear this out.
Neo-Nazi and other "white power" groups are attempting to divide our society through the promotion of Anti-Semitism, racism and violence.
Opposing Israel's atrocious actions against the Palestinian people does not make one anti-Semitic!
We cannot allow racists such as the NA to hijack the just struggle of the Palestinian people!
