THE 9/11 "MISSILE HITS THE PENTAGON" HOAX.
There has been a concerted effort to convince those that disbelieve the official 9/11 fable, to believe another, even stranger, fable. Namely, that the damage to the Pentagon was caused by a missile strike. Why the perpetrators of 9/11 want to spread this missile myth is not at all clear, as even a cursory investigation of the facts, makes it clear that it was not hit by a missile. Maybe the reason they are doing this is to tar the disbelievers as a lunatic fringe, or perhaps they just want to create as much confusion about the issue as possible, to obscure some, as yet unknown, fault in the fables fabric.

Namely, that the damage to the Pentagon was caused by a missile strike. Why the perpetrators of 9/11 want to spread this missile myth is not at all clear, as even a cursory investigation of the facts, makes it clear that it was not hit by a missile. Maybe the reason they are doing this is to tar the disbelievers as a lunatic fringe, or perhaps they just want to create as much confusion about the issue as possible, to obscure some, as yet unknown, fault in the fables fabric. Why hit the Pentagon with a missile, when you could fly a plane into it and achieve the same result? If the missile was observed on route to the Pentagon by credible witnesses, then everyone would suspect that the US military was responsible for the strike, as Al Qaeda has no missiles. This would lead to questions as to who really brought down the World Trade Center complex. The US military would not want this, and Al Qaeda would certainly not want this, as they can only benefit by claiming responsibility (which by the way they did not do). Clearly, hitting the Pentagon with a missile is an amazingly stupid thing to do. So, why would any sane perpetrator plan to do this? And thus, why would any sane observer believe that this might have happened? Besides, the physical evidence clearly shows that the Pentagon was NOT hit by a missile. Incidently, the physical evidence also shows that the Pentagon was NOT hit by a Boeing 757. Structurally, the Pentagon was reinforced concrete floors, supported by a reinforced concrete beam and column frame. To form the walls, the spaces between the concrete beams and columns were filled with ordinary bricks and mortar. The outer wall was decorated with a thin limestone facade. The concrete columns were spirally reinforced. This meant that they were stronger than your average reinforced concrete column. Brick infill (between the beams and columns) is inherently weak.  
On the left is a shot of the Pentagon wall from inside the building, the concrete beams, columns, floor slabs and brick infill are all clearly visible. On the right is a photo of a section of the wall exposed by the aircraft strike of 9/11. Note the brick walls had steel mesh added to strengthen them. Click on the photos for larger images.  
Above are photos of the spiral steel reinforcement in Pentagon type columns before the concrete is added. Note that the columns have both spiral and long-run steel reinforcement, but the beams only have long-run reinforcement. 
Above is a photo of the damage from inside the Pentagon. The view is parallel to the wall and toward the collapsed section. Visible are a number of round columns. These columns originally had a square cross-section. What happened was that the impact stripped away the concrete outside the steel spiral reinforcement, leaving rounded columns. One column has been entirely stripped of its concrete and spiral reinforcement, with only four pieces of long-run reinforcement left anchored to the ceiling. Lying on the ground, in the center of the photo, is a column that has been knocked down and stripped of much of its concrete. Note that the columns are all bent in the same direction. This would be expected if this was the result of an aircraft strike, but would not be expected if this was the result of a missile strike. Lets have another look at this photo:
Here you can see that the columns originally had a square cross-section. At one point the middlemost column has been stripped down to its spiral reinforcement and a little above this the spiral reinforcement itself has been stripped off, leaving only the long-run reinforcement. This type of damage is impossible from a missile strike, but expected from the impact of an aircraft wing. This is in fact where the right wing struck the building. Here is a close-up of the damage to another column that was hit by the right wing: 
Now lets have a look at this photo (click on the photos for larger images): 
Notice that the two columns on the left that been stripped down to their spiral reinforcement. Notice that both have been forced inward and that one has broken off at the base (although it is still attached to the ceiling). Note that this damage is not in the collapsed section, but to its left. This type of damage is impossible from a missile strike, but expected from the impact of an aircraft wing. This is in fact where the left wing struck the building. Here are some other photos of the damage due to the impact of the left wing:    
Below is a picture of the left wing damage before the wall collapsed. Interestingly, this photo has been touched-up so that the (just visible) impacted column is obscured. This has been done by adding white "fingers" to the impacted region. These were modeled on the burnt black branches of the tree that had been scattered about the area when the plane impacted it. Some of these burnt black branches are visible in the second photo below. The fact that the "fingers" were white and not black, led one to examine them further. This led to the conclusion that they had been added. It should be noted that all branches in the touched-up photo, other than those in the left wing impact area, are the expected color, black.  
Below is a picture of how the Pentagon looked before the wall collapsed. In the second picture the direct impact area has been shaded in red.
