Helen Thomas, age 82, is the gutsy dean of the White House Press Corps. She dared to call George Bush the “worst president in all of American history.” As a result, Thomas is under attack from the Sharonist, John Podhoretz, who rants for the New York Post, and Michelle Malkin, a warmongering hack, whose gruntings appear regularly in the Moonie-owned Washington Times. Despite it all, the feisty Thomas remains a fighter for the truth and justice.

By the end of this month, 95,000 Beth Steel retirees will be without health care and insurance benefits. “Free Trade” policies have helped to kill off the steel industry, while members in the Congress, like Sen. Barbara A. Mikulski, did little or nothing to prevent its decline. Meanwhile, the Sharonist regime in Israel is shaking down the Bush Administration for $5 billion in freebies, and pushing for $4 billion more in military hardware, and another $10 billion in loan guarantees. The U.S. Constitution is suppose to promote the “general welfare.” Question for Mikulski and the Congress: “Are you working for the American people or someone else?”
