A brilliantly written update of the Gil-Scott Heron classic "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised". No doggerel here; this is a well-written, well thought-out modernization including hyperlinks for all the appropriate cultural references...

The editors of MR review US economic conditions. They expect continued stagnation given the policies of the Bush administration. Only a "revolt from below" can combat the current "politics and economics of inequality."

Israeli nationals control 75 percent of the Ecstasy drug market being dumped into the U.S. Nevertheless, the ADL’s Abe Foxman ignores this critical fact when he lists “hate crimes” against Americans on his web site. As for “Hate Symbols,” it is time for Foxman and the ADL to add the “bulldozer” to its roster. The bulldozer is an instrument of terror, that is regularly used by the Israeli Army against innocent Palestinians in the occupied territories. It was also used, on March 16, 2003, to kill Rachel Corrie, an American peace activist. No one is above criticism in our Republic. It is time for Foxman and the ADL to clean up their act.

There is no possibility for world peace without eliminating the war business and the merchants of death who profit from it.
