One hundred people organized by Baltimore SUSTAIN (Stop US Tax Aid to Israel Now!) arrived in NYC at 12:30 p.m. at 52nd street and 3rd Avenue directly next to the 17th NYPD Precinct. Close to 1000 people gathered outside the subway stop. Slowly the crowd moved forward toward 1st Avenue, but were eventually stopped before reaching the intersection of 3rd Avenue. The SUSTAIN vehicles were two of many that left from All People's Congress, American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), Johns Hopkins University and elsewhere.
