		Wal-Mart's success comes at the expense of its non-unionized workforce.  According to the article, Wal-Mart is opening stores in California where other grocery store workers have been subjected to lockouts and attempts to reduce benefits.  Shopping at Wal-Mart contributes to a decline in wages for grocery store workers and other middle class wage earners generally.
