First, we learned about a conference of rabid Evangelical Christians and Zionists, that received a $100,000 grant from a Zionist clique. On its Op Ed pages, we found A.M. Rosenthal, who once urged the U.S. to bomb the capitals of five Muslim countries; Jonah Goldberg, who had suggested the U.S. “bomb Canada;” Mona Charen, who viciously smeared the Peace Movement, as “enemies of freedom;” and finally, Nat Hentoff, a pseudo-liberal, who supported the U.S.-led war against Iraq. They all contributed to the “Silly Season Edition” of the Washington Times.
