With neighborhoods and schools thoroughly resegrated in Baltimore City, a socially responsible parent has to not only think of sending their child to a public rather than a private school. A white parent should also consider sending his/her child to a predominantly black school at as young an age as possible, and living in a genuinely integrated neighborhood.
