Father Emil Salayta spoke at a church in Ellicott City, on Dec. 22. He is a Catholic priest, of Bedouin stock, associated with the Patriarch of Jerusalem. He said the "Mother Church in the Holy Land is dying." He blamed the "brutal military occupation of the West Bank and Gaza by the Israeli Defense Forces" for the problem.
