Brazil Election: Lula's Win Raises Hopes in Brazil--and elsewhere. By Jan Rocha

The last elected left-wing president in Latin America was Chile's Salvador Allende whose government was destroyed by a U.S.-backed military coup in 1973. Now the victory of Brazil's Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva may signal the end of neoliberalism in Latin America. Jan Rocha reports.
